The Headless Compression Screw is a new-generation product for the fixation of lower and upper extremity fractures, fusions, and extremity osteotomies.

Thanks to the improved design of the screws, longer Mini and Micro screws have been added to the product family, creating a product that addresses a wider range of applications.

Features

• Thicker Guide Wires: Due to the expanded cannulation diameter, thicker guide wires can now be used.
• Larger Screwdriver Sockets: The hexagonal screwdriver socket at the proximal end of the screw has been enlarged, allowing for greater control and torque application.
• Variable Thread Pitch: The variable thread pitch, which changes from the distal to the proximal end, allows for rapid approximation of bone fragments. This gradual compression also gives the surgeon better control.
• Tapered Design: The tapered outer structure ensures that the threads continuously engage new bone during insertion, increasing resistance to stripping and backing out.
• Cannulated Design: The cannulated design allows for precise positioning of the screw over a guide wire. This technique also offers the advantage of a minimally invasive approach with a smaller skin incision.
• Headless: This feature allows the screw to be countersunk below the bone surface after insertion.
• Self-Tapping: Facilitates ease of insertion and removal.
• Self-Drilling: The cutting flutes at the distal tip of the screw allow for insertion with a simplified technique.
• Fully Threaded: This feature ensures a very high purchase strength in the bone. It also maximizes fixation across the fracture or osteotomy line, providing the advantage of continuous load-bearing during the healing process.
• Wide Range of Diameters and Lengths:

1. Micro (2.5mm distal diameter – lengths from 8mm to 20mm)
2. Mini (3.5mm distal diameter – lengths from 16mm to 30mm)
